K'nex Centrifuge - work in progress.

This is a work-in-progress I am simply building to see if I can get it to work. I am testing a K'nex Differential I built which allows me to control the torque coming from a power drill. This means that I can take a constant input of 1350 RPM and gradually accelerate a very large object without damaging any pieces.

This is the bearing the centrifuge arm sits on.

A close-up of the Differential itself

The entire machine. The arm is 3.5 feet long, spins at 220 RPM and pulls 29 G-forces.

Here is a video of the centrifuge in action.
